Cloud-PVE architecture

Your Cloud-PVE infrastructure is built from several layers:

Hardware layer

  • Dedicated servers with AMD EPYC or Intel Xeon processors
  • Full-flash NVMe storage
  • Redundant 10 Gbps network
  • N+1 power supply

Proxmox VE layer

  • Latest stable Proxmox VE release
  • High-availability cluster (3 nodes minimum)
  • Corosync for inter-node communication
  • Ceph or ZFS for shared storage

Network layer

  • Dedicated VLAN per customer
  • Stateful firewall
  • SSH access through a secured jump host
  • Optional VPN
